The Swiss_Mouse loves going to company meetings.

They are the “theater of the absurd”.

Recently, the Swiss_Mouse attended a meeting by the HR department where he and his cow-workers were gently lectured upon his/their ethics and how the company expected peons to adhere to all rules.

The HR person went on and on, discussing how we the lowly peons were being watched, would be investigated, were expected to act accordingly…blah blah blah. No cheese was handy so the Swiss_Mouse nibbled on a cookie.

The Sexual Harassment section was extremely humorous though, because sitting in front and to the side of the Swiss_Mouse were a project manager and his direct report who are…how shall the Swiss_Mouse put this….”playing put the cheese in the mouse hole”. It would have been fun to watch them squirm, except the HR guy turned it on everyone else (and oh yes, he knows what is going on). He presented it as “How dare any of you insinuate anything if you don’t have proof.” What did make this funny though is that there is proof. And the HR department ignored it.

At least the Swiss_Mouse got a cookie.

He hates those meetings, especially when it’s the “higher ups” who wind up screwing over the company and not the little mouse in the basement cube.
