Oh the big Swiss_Mouse Electricity experiment continues.

Thanks to a very cool May, the Swiss_Mouse is unable to determine how much if any the Compact Flourescent replacement project saved.  The Swiss_Mouse only had his Air Conditioning on for 2 days in all of May!!!  Well, he did buy some screens and put them in, so technically he spent money!  OUCH.  Spend it to save it.

In April the Mouse’s bill was down 10% over the previous year.  May it was a staggering 22%.   It will be very interesting to see June’s bill.

Unfortunately in the spend it to save it category, the Swiss_Mouse is having attic fans installed in order to help with the cooling in the summer.  He could have had Solar attic fans put in, but they were 4 times more expensive. Sigh.

One big loss:  The Mouse got his annual propane adjustment.  The Mouse uses budget billing so his bill is the same all year.  But this year his bill went up by 33% a month.  OUCH.  Makes the electricity savings just disappear.

The Mouse will be shivering this winter with the heat way down.

The Mouse must find some alternatives!!!!!
