Thinner Mouse

The Swiss_Mouse just finished a “Biggest Loser” contest at work.  While there are many losers at the Mouse’s place of employ and it is so hard to tell who is the biggest one, this was a contest for weight loss.

Not weight loss exactly, but body fat loss.

NOW ignoring the fact that the scales were screwed up and didn’t measure the body mass index correctly, the Swiss_Mouse did achieve some success.

The contest ran for 10 weeks.  The Swiss_Mouse lost 20 pounds.  Not bad.  The true telling factor was the Swiss_Mouse’s pants actually were loose!

HOW did you do this Swiss_Mouse?!?

Ahem, yes, no cheese.

What the Swiss_Mouse did do was very simple, direct and repeatable.

a) Diet:

  • Special K for breakfast, with fruit.
  • Lunch was a  Slimfast shake and  yogurt.
  • Dinner was normal.

b) Exercise:

  • Treadmill for 15 minutes 3 times a week.
  • Swimming for 15 minutes for 3 times a week.

The true key was:  NO SNACKING AFTER DINNER!  Seriously.  And no Snacking except for fruit between meals.  IT WAS TOUGH.  Mentally tough more than physically tough.

But the new thinner, lighter, able-to-fit-into-his pants mouse likes the results.

(NOTE: YES I gave myself a reward of eating RIBS this week! TOUGH!)
